Our Mission

Rogersville Animal Hospital was founded with a single mission: to provide exceptional, compassionate veterinary care to the animals of our community. We understand that pets are beloved family members and farm animals are essential to livelihoods and agricultural success.

Our team recognized a critical need for a modern, full-service veterinary facility capable of serving both small animal companions and large farm animals under one roof. That vision has become a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest diagnostic and surgical technology, staffed by dedicated veterinary professionals committed to excellence.

We're excited to serve Rogersville, North Alabama, and surrounding communities with compassionate care that makes a real difference in the lives of animals and their owners.

Our Commitment

We believe that quality veterinary care shouldn't require choosing between your pet and farm animals. Whether you're a pet owner seeking preventive wellness care, or an agricultural business managing a herd or equine operation, we're equipped and trained to serve your needs—with the same level of professional attention, modern medicine, and genuine care.

Erika Thornton

Erika Thornton

Receptionist

I began my career in the Veterinary field in 2005, working as both a Veterinary assistant and receptionist, caring for small animals and exotic pets. My passion for animals began at an early age while growing up in an animal-loving household with cats, dogs, hamsters, and fish. I enjoy the challenges and rewards of veterinary medicine and appreciate that every day brings new opportunities to learn and grow.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is building relationships with clients and witnessing the special bond they share with their pets—a connection I understand through the many animals I've loved over the years.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, attending concerts, sporting events, and spending time outdoors. I take pride in providing compassionate care and am committed to helping both pets and their families have the best possible experience. I look forward to meeting everyone!
